LARKANA: PPP Co chairman Asif Ali Zardari lashed out at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said on Tuesday labeled his opponents as 'Paper Tigers' and said that since the past 15 days, he had been staying in Punjab which had scared his rivals.

Addressing a large gathering at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in Naudero on the occasion of the death anniversary of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Asif Zardari slammed the current government and said that today, masses did not have access to water or electricity.

"It is disappointing to note that today electricity is not double expensive, but it is not at all available to the people," he said.

Zardari paid rich tribute to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and said that atrocities had been committed against the former Prime Minister. He said that the purpose of this annual gathering was to highlight the importance of Bhutto's sacrifices.

Zardari said that CPEC was his party's project and that PPP was the only one who had a philosophy on how to govern the country. The former president promised people that the next government would be formed by the Pakistan Peoples Party.
