CPEC third country inclusion: Iran's official response reported

QUETTA – Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Hunardost on Thursday has responded over the inclusion of third country in the CPEC.
He has assured his government’s support for the multi-billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
Addressing a press conference in Quetta, the Iranian ambassador said Tehran does not oppose the involvement of any country in the economic corridor project.
“CPEC will open new vistas of development and prosperity as it is a game changer for the region. We do not oppose any country’s participation in the project,” he maintained.
“Iran will wholeheartedly welcome any country that wants to invest in Pakistan for the sucessful completion of CPEC.”
