Electing Nawaz Sharif as party President is victory of Constitution: Musadik

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Media Affairs, Dr Musadik Malik on Tuesday said electing former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as President of the party was victory of the Constitution.
Nawaz Sharif was living in hearts of masses which was why workers of PML-N elected him as President of the party, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said people's love and affection was with Nawaz Sharif as he was still a popular leader in the country.
Regarding Electoral Reforms Bill, he said the parliament had unanimously passed bill to ensure transparency in electoral system.
Replying to a question, he said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif always stood by Nawaz Sharif and the party in every situation.
