Pakistan Navy adds yet another arsenal in its fleet

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Navy commissioned on Monday survey ship ‘Behr Masah' in its naval fleet, enhancing the naval research and sailing capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.

Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was the guest of honour for the commissioning of new survey ship ‘Behr Masah' in an event held in Karachi.

The latest survey ship that was built by China's Dajin Shipyard would play an important role in the fulfillment of the operational requirements of the Pakistan Navy and the development of the maritime sector.

As per the Navy spokesperson, the research ship is equipped with modern survey equipment that will play an important role in the search of natural reserves in the maritime territories of the country.

Admiral Abbasi lauded and congratulated the crew of the Dajin Shipyard and all involved in the project for the timely completion and quality work on the project, saying that cooperation in the civil and defence sectors was a reflection of the excellent relations between Pakistan and China.

Pakistan would be able to provide assistance to its allied countries in the field in hydrography, he informed.
