PSL Final: Foreigners express satisfaction over security arrangements

LAHORE: Cricket commentator and Coach of Islamabad United Dean Jones has arrived in Lahore for the final of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) second edition.

“I have now arrived in Lahore for @thePSLt20 Final,” Jones said

“The Airport & Police security were fantastic ! Looking forward to having a good time!,” he added.

Peshawar Zalmi’s overseas players Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, Sumit Patel and Chris Jordan have already reached Lahore to play PSL final against Quetaa Gladiators on March 5.

Quetta Gladiators have selected a new group of foreign players after all of their overseas players pulled out of the PSL final owing to security fears.

Gladiators selected South Africa’s Veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Morne van Wyk, Zimbabwe’s Sean Ervine, all-rounder Elton Chigumbura, Bangladesh’s Anamul Haque and West Indian pacer Rayad Emrit.
