Pak Army did unbelievable mission of eliminating terrorists from FATA: British Journalist

LAHORE:  British journalist Peter Oborne visited Miranshah, the capital of the agency in order to witness as to how Pakistan Army wiped out terror from the badlands of terror.

The journalist who is the first veteran western journalist to have visited North Waziristan in many years, explained in his writes in Daily Mail that how Pakistan managed to survive the darkest days of terror. 

"After a sustained assault, Pakistani troops managed to take control of Miranshah. The terrorists fled— but left a scene of heartbreaking devastation," the journalist wrote.

Peter Oborne hailed the achievements of Pakistan Army while witnessing the areas that once used to be terror spots.

"It seemed unimaginable back then that Al Qaeda and the Taliban would be driven out of Pakistan’s tribal territories. Yet the Pakistan army now claims that every last Taliban fighter has been expelled," Peter Oborne wrote.
