KPK presents 24 demands to federal government: Official sources

PESHAWAR: KPK government has presented a list of 24 demands to federal government. Demands of Power supply, charges against war on terrorism and tax exemption are on the top of the list.
According to Official sources, KPK government demanded that province is producing 13% electricity through hydel system and KPK is not being paid against the production of electricity while it is the right of the province.
KPK also demanded to provide additional force to combat menace of terrorism.
Sources claimed that Special Committee of Senate also decided to support the demands of KPK.
On the other hand, Finance Ministry officials said that Rs 114 billion had been provided to KPK government by federal government and now the legitimate demands of the province will be met by federal government.
