Federal Government makes highest ever increase of 45% in gas prices in Pakistan

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has approved a price hike for gas companies after the price of oil and electricity went up, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Friday.

Ogra link approves link a 45% increase for the people of Punjab and KP and 44%, for Sindh and Balochistan. The authority sent the recommendations to the federal government for the final decision.

Ogra link issued the decision after hearing the petitions of gas link companies and gave the approval to increase the price of gas link Sui Northern by Rs266.58 per MMBTU.
