PTI spokesperson remarks about Hamza Ali Abbasi are unwarranted

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Fawad Chaudhry on Monday said that renowned actor and talk show host Hamza Ali Abbasi is not a member of their party.
Speaking to Media News regarding Reham Khan’s upcoming book, PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said that PTI has so far not taken any legal action against Imran Khan’s ex-wife and only individuals who think they are being defamed have decided to sue Reham.
When asked if what Hamza Ali Abbasi did does not fall under response from PTI, Fawad Chaudhry said Hamza is not a part of PTI.
“None from PTI has even tweeted against Reham Khan… as far as I know, Hamza Ali Abbasi is a talk show host and has no connection with PTI,” said Fawad Chaudhry.
It is pertinent to mention here that on June 3, Reham Khan had a verbal fight with PTI loyalist and actor Hamza Ali Abbasi who claimed to have read the manuscript of her upcoming biography.
As Hamza said that he has read a manuscript of the book and that the book was full of lies about Imran Khan, upon which Reham shared a screenshot of an email, claiming Hamza had threatened her.
The Twitter feud between Hamza and Reham brought the issue to limelight after which a number of prominent PTI leaders and Imran Khan’s close friend Zulfi Bukhari have served a legal notice to Reham Khan.
Reham married Imran Khan in January 2015 in a ceremony at PTI chief’s Islamabad home, but was divorced ten months later. Her book is expected to reveal some details about the days she spent with PTI chief.
