Deadly suicide blast rocks Kabul

KABUL: An suicide attack hit an area of the Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday, officials and witnesses said, causing casualties among nearby security personnel.
At least 10 people were killed in the blast while scores were injured, said Afghan media in its initial reports. According to the eyewitnesses, it was a suicide bombing; however, the police officials have not commented on the incident so far.
The explosion occurred at around 8:30 pm Kabul time.
