ECC meeting jn Islamabad takes important decisions

The Economic Coordination Committee has approved technical supplementary grants worth over 190 million rupees for various projects.
The ECC, which met in Islamabad with Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh in the chair, gave approval to over 141 million rupees to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for an expenditure incurred on media campaigns to create awareness among public during COVID-19 pandemic.
It also approved more than 9 million rupees for a media campaign on occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day to be observed tomorrow.
Besides, the meeting approved five million rupees, 25 million rupees and ten million rupees respectively for Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Frontier Corps Balochistan and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to procure spare parts for helicopter maintenance.
