Donald Trump to take on US courts over immigration ban

The White House has pledged to fight back after a federal judge in Seattle ordered a temporary nationwide halt to President Trump’s controversial ban on travelers from seven Muslim countries.

President's Press secretary Sean Spicer said in Washington that Department of Justice would request an emergency stay of the federal court order at the earliest possible time.

He said president's order has constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people.
