ISLAMABAD - Surprise name of a foreign team skipper surfaces for Pakistan cricket team head coach.
As per the media report the name of former Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jawardane has been also considered for the top slot of Pakistan head coach.
A former Pakistan cricketer, who is very close to the PCB officials, has recommended former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene as a replacement of Mickey Arthur.
The former cricketer believes that Pakistan should appoint a coach who has himself played all three formats of cricket. Jayawardene perfectly fits that bill but is currently coaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians.
Mickey Arthur is also among the candidates being considered for the England’s coaching role.
