Extremist Hindus once again threaten Ghulam Ali show in India

NEW DELHI: Extremist Hindu organization Shiv Sena again threatened Pakistani Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali show in India.

 

Ghulam Ali was due to perform for a movie in Delhi today but event was cancelled after threat call from Vishnu Gupta chief of Shiv Sena.

 

Movie Director Suhaib Ilyasi claimed that he received a threat call on his cell from Vishnu Gupta and he has filed a complaint in Connaught Place police station regarding threat call.

 

Ilyasi said “I have met DCP, New Delhi, to talk about the threat regarding disruption of the music launch of my film ‘Ghar Wapasi’ on Monday. The film stars Ghulam Ali sahib and the Hindu Sena president is saying that they will not let the event to happen.”

 

Ghulam Ali cancelled several concerts in India last year due to Shiv Sena threats.

 

Delhi police claimed that they received a complaint against Shiv Sena from Ilyasi and they will take legal action against those who are disrupting law and order.

 

Shiv Sena also threatened Ghulam Ali and Pakistan Cricket team in the start of March for not visiting India.
