FIA books NADRA official in Pakistani Embassy

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Thursday took action against an official of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office in Pakistan's embassy in Kuwait for embezzling millions of rupees.
The action was taken on the direction of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
FIA arrests human smugglers
According to Interior Ministry, the accused Adnan Akram was involved in misappropriation of 8.2 million rupees from 2010 to 2012.
The accused disappeared after the matter came before the authorities.
Visa of the accused had been canceled and his passport was seized by the embassy.
FIA was registered a case against Adnan Akram on the direction of the interior minister and an FIA team was being dispatched for his arrest.
