Pakistan to jointly explore with friendly country fresh avenues in field of International Civil Aviation

KARACHI - Aeronautical Authorities of Pakistan and Qatar have discussed in detail air service matters between the two States with equal attention to jointly explore fresh avenues in the field of International Civil Aviation.

A spokesperson of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority in a statement issued here Friday said the exchange between the two delegations led by Abdul Sattar Khokar (Senior Joint Secretary of Pakistan Aviation Division) and Mohammed Faleh Alhajri (Director of Air Transport Department of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority) also encompassed Pakistan's National Aviation Policy - 2019.

Pakistan and Qatar were said to had agreed to continue consultations so as to not only work together closely and promote the aviation industries of the two in close coordination.

The Pakistani delegation included Sheikh Noor Muhammad (Aviation Division), Air Commodore Nasir Raza Hamdani, Air Commodore Irfan Sabir, Syed Muzaffar Alam and Muhammad Suleman Ghouri from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA - Pakistan) along with Ali Tahir Qasim, Raheel Ahmed and Mustafa Aleem representing national airline.

Officers of CAA - Qatar, Mohammed Faleh Alhajri, Hassan Al Tamimi coupled with representatives of Qatar Airways Fathi Atti, Salam Al Samarrie and Dr. Tanveer Ahmad were among the members of the guest delegation.
