Pakistan calls for reforms in UN Security Council

NEW YORK – Pakistan has reiterated its support for more democratic, accountable and effective reforms at the United Nations Security Council, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Taking part in an interactive session on UN’s inter-governmental negotiating process on Security Council reform in New York, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative Maleeha Lodhi said reforms should be on the basis of more elected and non-permanent members.
