Karachi Police kills Lyari Gangwar Baba Ladla group leader

KARACHI: Karachi police on Wednesday claimed to have killed a top criminal belonging to Lyari gang war Baba Ladla group in an alleged encounter in Lyari area of the metropolis.
According to rescue sources, encounter took place near Lyari's Dubai Chowk when Lyari gang war accused opened fire on Police team which was conducting search operation in the area. In the exchange of fire the unknown accused aged, 27, sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot.
Police also recovered weapons and hand grenade from his possession.
The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
