US Ambassador appreciates Pak efforts against terrorism in meeting with Interior Minister

ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador David Halle called on Interior Minister Ch. Nisar in Islamabad here at Wednesday. Both dignitaries exchanged views over the regional security situation and ongoing bilateral cooperation in the field of anti-terrorism during the meeting.
As per details, affairs related to bilateral ties and strategic dialogues also came under discussion in the meeting. Speaking at the occasion, US Ambassador appreciated Pakistan's efforts to fight against menace of terrorism and said that USA will continue its all possible support to Pakistan in the war against terrorism.
David further added that strategic dialogues between both countries will prove a milestone to promote bilateral cooperation. He also lauded the efforts of Pakistan for promoting peace talks in Afghanistan.
Ch. Nisar expressed his satisfaction over the mutual efforts to promote bilateral cooperation between USA and Pakistan.
He added that Pakistan is desirous for lasting peace in the region and will continue its efforts in this regard.
