Pope Francis to visit Pakistan later this year on invitation from Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The spiritual leader of Catholic Christians Pope Francis in Vatican has accepted the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for visiting Pakistan. Pope Francis will visit Pakistan later this year.
As per details, a high level delegation led by federal minister Kamran Michel met with Pope Francis in Rome here at Wednesday. Federal minister for Religious Affairs was also included in delegation.
Pope Francis was formally informed about the message of PM Nawaz for visiting Pakistan by Kamran Michel. Pope Francis accepted the invitation of PM Nawaz.
Pope Francis offered special prayer for the prosperity of Pakistan and those Pakistanis who lost their lives in the war against terrorism.
