Punjab government establishes new Thermal Power company

Punjab government has established a company titled Punjab Thermal Power Limited for the execution of a new 1200 MW gas power plant.
Decision to this effect was taken at a high-level meeting presided over by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Saturday.
The chief minister directed to settle initial matters for the establishment of new power plant in the province. He said the project will be moved ahead speedily.
