Pakistan not doing enough against terror groups: US

WASHINGTON:   US State Department claimed that Pakistan is not doing enough against terror groups that exists in tribal areas.

 

The State Department said in its annual “Country Report on Terrorism” that these groups conducted attacks inside India and Afghanistan and also raised funds from the tribal areas.

 

Haqqani Network is hiding in or operate from the Federally Administrated Tribal Areas of Pakistan, a mountainous region along Pakistan’s northwest border with Afghanistan,” the State Department said.

 

State Department claimed that India continuously targeted by Maoist insurgents and other groups based in Pakistan.

 

US claimed that LeT, JuD and Falah-i-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) are recruiting youth and able to raise huge funds and hold rallies in Pakistan.
