ANF seizes Narcotics worth billions across country in single day operation

RAWALPINDI, July 3: (APP) Anti Narcotics Force ANF has seized some 1.102 ton heroin and 2.5 kg Hashish worth Rs 7 billion in international market in operations at Pishin, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Hyderabad.
Three drugs peddlers, including a woman, were also arrested in the
operations, said an ANF press release here on Sunday.
ANF Quetta in a successful intelligence-based operation, seized 1.102 ton heroin concealed at an uninhibited site located in mountainous area
of Killi Tor Tangai, Tehsil Barshore, District Pishin. The heroin was stuffed in plastic bags. As per preliminary reports, the consignment was intended to be shifted to some safe location situated at coastal area of Balochistan for final dispatch to some unidentified location.
ANF Rawalpindi, in an operation, arrested a woman with 500 gram
heroin from Mohallah Mehmood Ali, Chah Sultan, Rawal Road. She was reportedly involved in local drug peddling.
ANF Lahore while striking at College Road, Lahore, arrested a local
drug peddler identified as Nizam-ud-Din and recovered 1.9 Kg heroin from
his possession.
ANF Karachi, while acting on a tip-off, arrested drug supplier Haider Bux, resident of Hyderabad, with 2.5 kg Hashish. He was arrested from
Giddu Chowk, Kotri.
