Heart of Asia Conference in Amritsar, India on Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: Two-day Heart of Asia Conference on Afghanistan will begin in Indian city of Amritsar from today.
Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will represent Pakistan at the conference.
In the first session of conference, the senior officials will discuss and finalize the text for the Conference of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process.
The meeting will also cover all the necessary technical aspects of the declaration.
This conference will endorse the 6th Ministerial Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process Declaration and provide a new direction for the next year.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistan would attend the Heart of Asia Conference due to its commitment to Afghanisnd stability.
