No secret meeting held between Pakistani and Indian PM on the sidelines of SAARC conference 2014: Pak FO

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan government denied the reports about the secret meeting between PM Nawaz Sharif and PM Modi last year at the occasion of SAARC summit in Kathmandu. Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah said in his statement that the reports are baseless and against the reality. He also criticized the Indian media saying that despite the clarification, some section of media were continuing to air the false news. Spokesperson of Indian Ministry of External Affairs also refused to accept the allegation saying that these reports are pack of lies. Responding to queries on microblogging site Twitter on Wednesday evening, spokesperson Vikas Swarup said that the reports were “completely baseless.” It is also important to mention here that these revelations have been made by Barkha Dutt in her debut book who is also a renowned TV journalist of India.
