SRINAGAR: A high alert was sounded in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir after a group of five people reportedly infiltrated into valley, claims Indian Intelligence.
Both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force (IAF) are on high alert following the reports.
The centre has pressed IAF jets including the heavy lift C-17 aircraft for rapid induction of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and other paramilitary troops into the Kashmir valley.
The Home Ministry has also clarified that only 10,000 additional paramilitary troops have been inducted in Jammu and Kashmir. Hundred companies of additional central forces were ordered for deployment about a week ago, who are in the process of reaching their stations, added the ministry.
