Govt taking concrete measures to meet rising demand of electricity: Asif

Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has says all out efforts are being made to increase power generation to meet the rising demand in the country.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad Monday, he said hydel power generation is currently two thousand megawatt which will be enhanced to three thousand and five hundred megawatt next month.
The Minister said one thousand megawatt has been added to national grid since last year.
He said there will be no additional load shedding after the end of current month.
