SRINAGAR: PDP Mehbooba Mufti to be sworn in as first women CM of Indian Occupied Kashmir

PDP President Mehbooba Mufti to be sworn in as first women CM of Indian Occupied Kashmir on Monday.

 

She will be the first Muslim women in the history to become a chief minister of Indian state.

 

PDP is forming government in IOK with the coalition of BJP after a one-on-one meeting between Mehbooba Mufti and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

Mehbooba Mufti will take oath in Raj Bhawan Jammu at 11:00 a.m. and former CM Omar Abdullah will also attend the ceremony.

 

An official spokesman said “The governor’s invitation to Mehbooba Mufti follows the earlier discussions with the PDP and BJP presidents regarding formation of government in the state and the subsequent communications received for her and Sat Sharma, president, J&K BJP  regarding this matter.”
