US Military trained terrorists arrested in Syria, new revelations surface

MOSCOW - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the arrest of a number of terrorists in Syria, trained by the US, aimed at carrying out terrorist operations in the city of Tadmur in Homs province.

The terrorists were arrested Sunday morning 36 kilometers southeast to the city of Tadmur after fighting with the Syrian army, and two terrorists were killed during fire exchanges while others were arrested by the Syrian army troops.

The report did not mention the exact number of the people arrested, but it is said that the terrorists attacked from al-Tenf region and one of them confessed that he was trained in a US military base in the al-Tenf area.

The arrested terrorist whose name has not been disclosed said that Americans handed them arms and ammunition, and planned to carry out a number of terrorist operations in the Tadmur to provide the ground for the main attack with 300 other terrorists.

The Russian media have repeatedly stated that the Americans are training Syrian terrorists through creating several bases in Syria, supplying them with weapons and other necessary logistic backup by the Syrian terrorists through their 22 bases in or outside Syria.
