Twin explosions reported in Afghanistan

KABUL - *Two explosions have been reported in Afghanistan targeting the security forces. *
*Blasts were reported in Kandahar city in Sunday night, wounding at least six policemen, officials said. *
One Afghan National Police (ANP) officer was wounded in the first IED explosion in Kandahar’s PD14. Local officials said the explosive device had been placed in an electrical box.
A second IED was detonated when first responders rushed to the scene. The exact casualty toll from the second explosion is not yet known, the provincial governor’s spokesman said.
But, unconfirmed reports say that at least 6 police were wounded in the second blast.
