LAHORE – PTI leadership is in a fix over awarding the NA 131 ticket, a seat vacated by PM Imran Kha.
Waleed Iqbal and Humayun Akhtar Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are vying for the NA-131 ticket for the by-elections.
The PTI has decided to conduct a survey of the area to award the ticket to a suitable candidate. Ghulam Mohyuddin Dewan is likely to get the ticket for NA-124.
However, Imran Khan will finalize the name of the candidate for the constituency.
On July 25, Imran Khan obtained 84,313 votes in a nail-biting contest against PML-N’s strong candidate Kh Saad Rafique who secured 83,633 votes in NA-131.
