After temporary closure, Pakistan takes important decision over matter of Jalalabad consulate closure

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has refused to open the consulate in Jalalabad even after the Afghan government intervened into the matter of unlawful interference by the Governor Nangarhar.

Pakistan has announced to continue closure of its consulate in Afghanistan's Jalalabad city until satisfactory security arrangements are in place.

The consulate has been closed in view of undue interference by Governor of Nangarhar province in its affairs and other security concerns.
