MQM minus Altaf must not be banned : PML-N

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Thursday said Altaf Hussain was now minus from Muttahida Qaumi Movement and there was no room for his style of politics in Pakistan.
"After his blemishing speech against Pakistan, there is no possibility for Altaf Hussain's politicking in Pakistan," he said in a private news channel programme.
He said Dr Farooq Sattar had distanced himself from Altaf Hussain and the party leadership in Pakistan was siding with him.
"Therefore, the federal government and the political parties should support him and provide space for constructive politics." He said there was no charge of violence against Dr Farooq Sattar even when he was with Altaf Hussain. "Urdu speaking community of Karachi has its existence and we should not deprive them of their mandate."
He said the people associated with the MQM Pakistan should be given an opportunity to decide about their future. "They have a right to elect their leadership and if their decisions are made controversial, it will be injustice to them."
