Altaf Hussain name removed from party constitution and flag

KARACHI: The leader of MQM Pakistan Farooq Sattar has said that his party has completely disassociated from London Secretariat and all policy decisions will be taken independently.
Addressing a news conference in Karachi, he said Coordination Committee and Consultative Council of the party have endorsed all the decisions taken after 23rd of last month.
Earlier, a meeting of MQM Pakistan Coordination Committee decided to remove the name of Altaf Hussain from the party constitution and flag.
The meeting also decided to empower Deputy Conveners to lead the party.
