Pakistani opener Imam Ul Huq faces a setback

ISLAMABAD - Left-arm opener Imam-ul-Haq has been ruled out of the third and final ODI against Sri Lanka with a hand injury. Imam had injured his left hand while fielding during the second ODI on Monday.

Right-arm batsman Abid Ali will fill his shoes in the team. Abid, who scored a debut ODI hundred against Australia earlier this year, was left out of the World Cup squad to accommodate Imam. Ad

He, however, remained in England as a backup player, but could not play any match. Today’s game will provide him a golden opportunity to prove his mettle.

Pakistan might also test fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain to rest either Mohammad Amir or Wahab Riaz.
