LAHORE – Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif faces a setback from the Accountability Court.
An accountability court in Lahore has extended judicial remand of Opposition Leader Hamza Shahbaz till October 16 in money laundering and Ramazan Sugar Mills cases.
Accountability Court judge Jawad Ul Hassan heard the case. Hamza Shehbaz presented before court after judicial remand ends today. The court has directed NAB to re-produce the PML-N leader on October 16.
The security had been beefed up on Hamza Shahbaz’s court appearance. Roads adjacent to the accountability court had been blocked and irrelevant persons were not allowed to enter the premises.
