Saudi Arabia keen to invest in energy sector: Fawad

Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says Saudi Arabia has shown keen interest in investing in energy and petroleum sectors.
Talking to a private news channel, he said government is reviewing existing good relations with Iran and Saudi Arabia in terms of economic prosperity for Pakistan.
Replying to a question about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the Minister said government would expand the CPEC projects in the entire region.
To a question on Reko Diq, he said the project is of immense importance to Pakistan and the government is looking how the country could benefit from this mega project.
The minister said the present government wants to cooperate with the coalition government in Balochistan for socio- economic development of the province.
He said strengthening federation is part of the 100-day plan of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf government.
