ANP announces schedule for intra party elections in May 2019

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) announced schedule for intra-party election and appointed Mian Iftikhar Hussain as Chairman of Election Commission.
In a meeting of ANP’s central council held here, Asfandyar Wali Khan, the central leader of the party, announced the schedule for election appointed the members including Sayed Aqil Shah from KP, Younas Buneri from Sindh, former Senator Daud Khan from Balochistan and Dr Akram from Saraiki unit for conducting elections.
According to the schedule, provincial and district commissioner would be constituted from October 1 to October 30. From November 1st to January 3 the membership drive would be launched. Similarly, from February 1 to March 30 Tehsil and district organizations would be established.
From April 1 to April 30 all the provincial election and units would be completed, while from May 1 to May 30 the central election would be held and until the new organization structure all the bodies would continue their functioning.
