Ishaq Dar challenges his NAB case indictment in the Islamabad High Court

ISLAMABAD - Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has challenged his indictment in the Islamabad High Court today.
The close confidant of Sharif family stated in his petition that he was indicted by the accountability court without giving him the mandated time requesting the IHC to suspend the indictment proceedings till he submits his response.
The corruption reference, pertaining to Dar’s assets beyond means was filed by the National Accountability Bureau in the purview of July 28th verdict of the supreme court.
Dar was indicted by the accountability court on Wednesday after his counsel’s request for grant of seven days was denied by the court remarking that the trial needed to be wrapped up in six months, in line with the directives of top court.
