India-US hold first ever Strategic and Commercial Dialogue

NEW YORK: On September 23, 2015 India and USA held their first ever Strategic and commercial dialogue in New York before the start of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly UNGA session. Both the FMs led their teams and at the end of the session a joint press conference was held before the main stream media. FM John Kerry urged India as a responsible and emerging economy of the world to join USA in their efforts against the climate Change, to which India agreed. Indian FM talked about the terrorism threats in South Asia and showed her reservation against the threats posed by LeT and other militant organizations working from the safe heavens in the region, pointing towards Pakistan without naming it. She also demanded from Pakistan to act against the culprits of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
