PM Nawaz Sharif lauds Interior Minister Ch. Nisar

ISLAMABAD (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the federal cabinet on Wednesday appreciated the efforts of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for "handling onslaught and lock down of Islamabad".

Chairing the cabinet meeting here, the Prime Minister lauded the Interior minister for doing his duty to protect the state.
The Prime Minister said the role of law enforcement institutions in establishing writ of state was "commendable".
The Interior minister said he performed his duties under the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and expressed gratitude to him for his confidence and support.
He paid compliments to police and Frontier Constabulary, which he said stood by state and law.

Earlier, the cabinet meeting started with recitation of Quranic verses offered by State Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Pir Amin ul Hasnat.
The cabinet offered fateha for the martyrs of Police Training College, Quetta and for those who lost lives in a fire incident at Gaddani shipyard.
