Facebook launches new interesting feature for users across the World

ISLAMABAD - Facebook, one of most famous social media platforms to connect people during the coronavirus lockdown, has introduced a new ‘care emoji’ for its users show extra support in the ongoing difficult times.

When users will hold down the like button on mobile app or desktop, they will see care ‘emoji’ - a yellow face hugging a red heart on basic Facebook service and purplish heart on messenger app.

Facebook also shared a message while sharing the emoji, saying, “Even Apart, We’re In This Together.

We’have added a new reaction so you can show extra support while many of us are apart. We hope this helps you, your family and your friends feel a bit more connected”.

The social media giant is also making efforts to save people from fake information regarding the coronavirus, besides connecting them to accurate information from health experts.

The company said on its website, “We’ve now directed over 2 billion people to resources from the WHO and other health authorities through our COVID-19 Information Center and pop-ups on Facebook and Instagram with over 350 million people clicking through to learn more”.
