Sindh Assembly passes resolution against Imran Khan

KARACHI: The provincial assembly of Sindh benches belonging to PML-N and MQM-Pakistan members passed a resolution against the PTI Chief Imran Khan for his irresponsible, non-political and misguiding attitude to the nation.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Sorath Thebo tabled a resolution which reads "The august house condemns the irresponsible, non-political and misguiding attitude, behavior of Imran Khan as he is continuously misguiding the nation since last so many years."

Speaking on the resolution, she said that a so-called leader is misguiding the nation by his fake promises. She said that he is a leader who distributes money among his each worker to participate in his public meetings.

Sorath said that Imran for proving himself a big leader on media tells many lies. She further said that no one can be a leader by telling lies. She also termed him "Wo Moong or Masoor ki Daal."

When one of the MQM-Pakistan MPAs Zafar Kamali spoke on the resolution against Imran the house was gripped by exchange of hot words.

Leader of the house Khawaja Izharul Hassan and MPA of MQM-Pakistan Faisal Sabzwari tried to calm the situation. Later, Sabzwari giving policy statement of his party said that it is not the policy of his party to say bad words against the leader of any party, women or workers.

PTI MPAs opposed the resolution and PPP's Nisar Khuhro said that they will remain silent over it.

Later, the deputy speaker put the resolution to the house and PML-N as well MQM-Pakistan MPAs passed it. (APP)
