Imran Khan submits reply to Supreme Court in disqualification case

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan has submitted his reply in the Supreme Court on the petition filed against him by PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday requested the Supreme Court to dismiss Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi’s constitutional petition seeking Khan’s disqualification.

The PTI leader’s counsel Naeem Bukhari moved a three-page reply over the PML-N leader’s plea.

The application states that Abbasi is trying to show his loyalty to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif whose legality is still to be established by a Joint Investigation Team.

“The petitioner is himself an accused in the ephedrine case and he filed the petition against Imran Khan to counter his petition against Sharif family in the Panamagate case.”
