Indian Railways use Pakistani train photo for their official App
ISLAMABAD - Railway police in Gujarat India posted a photo of Pakistani green train on a recently introduced application. Gujarat’s Railway police had to remove the photo.
Gautam Parmar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Crime, and Railways, informed India’s local news agency, “To make the application more attractive, the app developer had put some pictures of trains. In the process, he inadvertently used a photograph of a Pakistani train. Upon learning about it, we have asked the developer to remove it. It was an unintentional error,”
According to India’s local news agency, Gujarat Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jageja had introduced the app.
The purpose of creating the application was to inform train users to access Government Railway Police (GRP) of G8ujarat in emergency cases.
In addition to this, the app also enables the user to report cases regarding drugs or human trafficking.
Apart from that, the app was also made to help people seek police support in case of eve-teasing, an unauthorized entry in the compartment, missing child and so on.
