Saudi Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan and India as part of reconciliation efforts
ISLAMABAD - Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir is likely to visit Pakistan today as part of his efforts to mediate between Pakistan and India amid the prevailing situation.
This was stated by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking to different private TV channels.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said after his return from OIC Summit in Abu Dhabi, the Saudi foreign minister would visit India and later Pakistan today on the desire of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
He said China has also decided to send a special envoy to Pakistan and Indian to meet the leadership of the two countries and help reduce the tension.
The Foreign Minister also invited the UN Secretary General António Guterres to visit Pakistan and the region to mediate.
