PM forms 10 member committee to review women empowerment case

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed a Committee to make a policy regarding women empowerment and the committee will present recommendations to PM Nawaz till March 5.
As per details, the committee has been formed by PM Nawaz to review the women empowerment case. The committee consists of 10 members.
The committee members includes Khawaja Zaheer Ahmad, Ishtar Osaf, State Minister Saira Afzal Tarrar, Anoosha Rehman, Akram Bukhari, Iram Bukhari, Dr. Shizra, Mansab Ali Khan, Shaista Pervez Malik, Senator Ayesha Raza and Dr. Ijaz Muneer.
Federal Minister Zahid Hamid will be the convener of committee. Committee will make a comprehensive strategy according to the national and international laws with the consultation of all stake holders.
A working paper has been prepared by PM Office in this regard and it will be used as reference paper by committee.
PM Nawaz has asked committee to present final recommendations till March 5 while government will announce its policy on March 8, International Women Day in the light of committee’s recommendations.
