Pakistani non state actors were surely behind Pathankot Air Base attack: Indian Defence Minister

NEW DELHI: Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parikar claimed that Pakistani non state actors were behind Pathankot Airbase attack which was supported by Pakistani establishment.
He claimed that non-state actors from Pakistan are involved in the attack and any non-state actors cannot function smoothly without full state support.
He said “Any non-state actors there, they cannot function smoothly without full state support.”
He claimed that National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating the matter and complete details will come out in the NIA investigation report.
He also claimed that intelligence has received security threats about army installations and we are conducting an extra ordinary security audit.
He said “We have now done a security audit, in addition to the normal security, and are in the process of ensuring that all army installations will be properly secured.”
He claimed that a team has been set up under a former vice chief of Army staff to suggest measures to strengthen security of military assets and establishments.
