PIA launches new initiative for promoting tourism in Pakistan

LAHORE – Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has announced to launch its Air Safari service from June 12. One-way fare for the Air Safari service has been fixed at Rs 25,000. The tourists will be able to visit the highest peaks of Gilgit Baltistan using the Air Safari service.
According to the PIA management, Air Safari flights will be operated once a week and will land at Skardu after flying over Kalam, Saiful Malook lake, Nanga Parbat and K2.
According to the PIA management, all the preparations regarding Air Safari have been completed and the final schedule will be issued in few weeks. The service is launched to promote tourism in the country in accordance with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.
