KP Government takes important decision over reopening the Tourism Sector

PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan takes important decision over reopening the Tourism Sector.
CM has announced the reopening of a tourism department in the province under the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
While giving the briefing to the media in Peshawar, the Chief Minister said that the lockdown in the province was being further relaxed but the people would have to implement SOPs.
He said that the tourism sector is being opened under proper SOPs, the cooperation of people and traders is very important in this regard, government directives must be followed in all cases.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of people infected with the coronavirus has exceeded 10,000, while 482 people have died.
Earlier, SOPs had been proposed to open the tourism sector. According to the National Tourism Coordination Board, it is mandatory for anyone to wear a mask before entering the hotel, as well as masks, gloves and sanitizers for hotel staff.
The National Tourism Coordination Board says hotel rooms will be disinfected daily, as well as ensuring social distance between rooms, galleries and dining areas.
According to the National Tourism Coordination Board, any tourist with coronavirus symptoms will be immediately separated.
